Re: Northwest Specialty Beverage Co.
The owners, Northwest Specialty Beverage Co is looking at constructing a new 37,020 sq. ft.
beverage distribution facility.
The buildings will consist of a Pre-Engineered
metal building that will have Architectural
Metal Siding. The main body of the building
will be a high-grade metal siding called
Reversed Box Rib as per picture attached. The
main body color will be Sierra Tan. The accent
color will be the
same a high-grade metal siding Reversed Box Rib, however the
color will be Old Town Gray. The pop-outs around the offices and
also on the sides of the building will have a stucco textured wall
panel as per picture attached. The color of the textured wall panel
will be Gray color.
We have incorporated variations in height and variation in the wall
plane to provide aesthetic interest in the elevations. The building
will have parapets on all sides of the building. The roof will be
hidden behind the parapet but will be a metal roof. On the South side of the building is the
loading dock, due to the nature of the site, this was the best location of the loading dock.
The site plan, will have a good mixture of landscaping, paving and building for the overall
coverage of the site. This site will have the required parking out front, along with three accessible
parking stalls. The proposed 36’-0” high facility is well under the allowed maximum height and
the facility is situated such that it complies with the setback requirements for the I-L Zone.
We have shown landscaping to enhance the building design which will be consistent with good
practices and will have a variety of plant materials. The landscape plan will have similar soft and
hard surfaces as the existing surrounding buildings.
The site lighting will be done with lights from the building. All wall mounted exterior light
fixtures which will transmit the light downward towards the parking only.
We hope this project will be acceptable to the planning department. We feel that this project will
add to the quality of architecture and distinctiveness of the area, also fit the needs of the owners.
