Project Narrative
Dear Mindi and Sarah:
Our clients are planning to build a new 20’x20’ wood post and beam pavilion with a metal
mono-pitch roof on the pond’s edge in Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village. The pavilion will
include a 4’ cantilevered fishing deck on the north pond side and a 42” tall rail wrapping
around three (3) edges of a pavilion. The mono-pitch roof will slope upwards toward a berm on
the south side of the pavilion in order to create a natural amphitheater for local special events.
The pavilion will also include LED strip lights mounted to the ceiling for evening lighting and
outlets for special event lighting and equipment. The pavilion will be related to the local site
context via new asphaltic walkways connecting to major crosswalks leading to local
residences and the main office building.
