Re: Speedy Net Design Review & CZC
We feel that the Speedy Net remodel located at 2560 Meridian Road meets the City of Meridian
Architectural Standards Manual and the Unified Development Code (UDC) as outlined below:
1. Architectural Character: The building is existing on site, only facade improvements are being
performed. The facade improvements of new neutral paint colors along with a stone facade and
wainscot will bring this rundown building into rehabilitation and provide something fresh to look at.
The building itself is similar size to its neighboring parcel
2. Parking Lots are tucked behind and to the side of the building minimizing any visual impact to the
road. The entire street front of the property is landscaped with a variety of trees and bushes.
3. The site is connected to a sidewalk that runs parallel to the Meridian Highway allowing access for
pedestrians. Inside the site both the bicycle parking and handicap parking are located close to the
entrance.
