Hello and thank you for clarifying,
Based on what you have provided, the approach, enclosure dimensions and site meet the requirements
detailed in our commercial enclosure requirements.
Per Republic Services all enclosure dimensions and approaches have been met per plans attached. We
do not stamp plans per say but rather give approval through e-mail and Republic Services approves of
the plans attached.

Hi Lee,
Thanks for the quick response.
Regarding access: this area highlighted in green is a temporary gravel drive aisle. It is designed/intended
to give Fire Dept/Republic Services/deliveries/food service access and turn around space until the
developments to the west become a reality. Eventually it will become a full paved drive aisle connecting
this site and those to the west.
Regarding the door swing: we are aware of your 120 degree requirement and will correct that in our
plans. Sorry for the confusion.
Please let me know if this satisfies your concerns or if additional corrections are needed.
Thanks again for your help,
landscape architect

Hello Bob,
Based on what you have provided, the exit appears to be somewhat of an issue. The entry is adequate,
but the exit will require a lengthy backing maneuver while turning. Is there an alternate exit that the
truck can take? Can you identify what the 25” wide section is next to the enclosure and is this a potential
exit path?
My other concern is with the opening angles of the enclosure doors. Our Commercial Enclosure
Requirements state that the door opening angles must be 120 degrees or greater. Referring to your
attachment, the doors on page 2 appear to be obstructed by the bollard. Please indicate or correct the
door opening angles to be 120 degrees or greater.
Please reply with any questions

James & Bruce,
We are preparing to submit CZC/DR applications to the City of Meridian for the attached project. Please
review the proposed trash enclosure location and details. We believe everything meets Republic
Services requirements but will certainly amend if necessary.
Thank you for your assistance,
