Valley Times NoticeNOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Meridian will hold a public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013 for the purpose of reviewing and considering the applications of: City of Meridian Community Development Department for Amendment to certain sections of the UDC pertaining to block length, multi-family parking, storage facilities, bicycle parking facilities, street knuckles and other miscellaneous clean-up items for Unified Development Code (UDC) Text Amendment; R. Orville & Heidi Thompson for Annexation and Zoning approval of 2.38 acres of land with a C-C (Community Business) zoning district for Thompson Farm located 975 S. Locust Grove Road; Oak Leaf Development, Inc. for Preliminary Plat approval consisting of four (4) single family lots and two (2) common lots on approximately 10.10 acres in an R-2 and R-8 zoning districts for Oak Leaf Subdivision generally located north of Chinden Boulevard, approximately a ¼ mile east of N. Black Cat Road; Mason and Stanfield, Inc. for Annexation of 10.10 acres of land from RUT and R-1 in Ada County to the R-2 (Low density residential) zoning district AND Preliminary Plat approval consisting of twenty-one (21) single family residential lots and five (5) common lots on approximately 9.76 acres in a proposed R-2 zoning district for Heron Ridge Estates Subdivision generally located north of Chinden Boulevard, south of the Phyllis Canal and approximately a ½ mile east of N. Black Cat Road; More particular descriptions of the above properties are on file in the Community Development Department office at Meridian City Hall, 33 East Broadway Avenue, Meridian Idaho and are available for inspection during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Copies of the above applications are available for review upon request. Any and all interested persons shall be heard at said public hearing, and the public is welcome and invited to submit testimony. Oral testimony may be limited to three (3) minutes per person. Written materials may be submitted seven (7) days prior to the above hearing date so that all interested parties may examine them prior to the hearing. All materials presented at public meetings shall become property of the City of Meridian.
