Broadway Ave, Ste 102 Meridian, Idaho 83642 Project: New Office Building 4120 N Linder Road Meridian, ID 83646 MTA Project No. 2016 Subject: Administrative Design Review Narrative To Whom it may concern: This project is for a new 20,000 square foot (s.f.) office for the Mike Brown Group. We have followed the City of Meridian Architectural Standards Manual and the Unified Development Code. The building follows a cohesive design. All four sides of the building have multiple materials, colors and architectural elements on them. There not a back side of the building. The building scale meets the L-O requirements and is 35’ tall with 12’ floor to floor heights. The form is square but has multiple modulations of the façade. The second floor overhangs the first floor and we have popped out the covered entries. We have incorporated a strong horizontal band at the second floor level to play off the parapet. There are strong vertical elements on each side of the building for the stair towers. The materials we are using are stucco, cultured stone, metal, and aluminum store front. The parking lot contains more parking than is required for this zoning. We have provided more accessible parking than required and we’ve provided additional bike racks at each entry.
