This is your notice to meet virtually to discuss the project proposed at 1630 E. Paradise Ln., Meridian, ID 83646. The project consists of the annexation, rezone,and consolidation of the subject parcels (1630 E. Paradise Ln. and the vacant parcel to the north)to facilitate the construction of one single-family residential home on approximately 1.78 acres. Due to the location of the northern portion of the property,the City of Meridian is requiring an annexation of the property into the City of Meridian,which will include a rezone to the City of Meridian R-2 zoning designation. These processes are only being completed due to the requirement of the City of Meridian, and no additional density or housing units are proposed. Due to the current health situation with COVID-19, we will be using a virtual method for presentation of the project, as well as to receive comments and questions. By going to the link or calling the number below and entering the Meeting ID,you can attend an online presentation of the project materials and information, as well as provide comments and ask questions. This is possible on desktop/laptop computers, or on your smartphone, through the Zoom meeting app for viewing, or you may call in and attend over just your phone. You may need to sign up for and/or download the app prior to the meeting. I will be taking this opportunity to discuss the project specifics, receive feedback and comments, and provide answers to questions concerning the project. If you are unable to access the virtual meeting or provide electronic comments due to limited or no access to the internet, please call me and I can provide information directly to you, as well as take your comments and questions. I know this is quite different than the methods employed for neighborhood meetings in the past, but due to the exceptional circumstances we are all facing, we feel this is the best option to meet regarding the project prior to the application submittal. This is not a public hearing, nor is the presentation being run by a public agency, and public officials will not be present.
