Request for Continuation of Public Headng for the Parks
Action Plan
The Parks Recreation Staff respectfully requests that the council continue our public
hearing on the Parks Action Plan until August 13, 2002. The Impact Fee Committee
met on June 19, 2002 and there still remain some questions on the legality of the
10% administration fee, which is included in our calculations. Attached is a copy of
our new impact fee calculations that were reviewed by the committee. The City
Attomey is researching some other legal issues pertaining to our current impact fee
ordinance. The Impact Fee committee is meeting again on July 17, 2002 to discuss
Bill Nichol's findings and hope to have a resolution on increasing our impact fees
soon after. We appreciate your patience on this matter.
