Narrative Letter January 8, 2021 City of Meridian Planning and Zoning - Design Review 33 E Broadway Avenue, Ste 102 Meridian, Idaho 83642 RE: Jacksons Store #99 – Tenant Improvement Design Review Application - Administrative BRS Architects Project #20105 Dear Planning Staff, On behalf of Jacksons Food Stores Inc, please accept this narrative letter describing the project scope of work on the convenience store located at 180 E Central Drive in Meridian. The exterior work on the existing building will be a minimal change to the overall look of the building. We wish to add a new storefront entry on the rear of the building that faces toward S Progress Avenue. This new entrance will match the look and style of the existing storefront on the opposite side of the building. To provide protection for the new doors, the existing canopy will be extended out 3’-4” to cover the sidewalk and match the 4’-0” canopy that is around the front and side of the building. The new entrance will provide a safer and more direct entry into the building from the existing parking already provided. There will be no change to the site layout.
