Mr, Del Bolen

Dear Mr. Bolen:
This letter is to confirm our conversation on July 12, 1966, in regard
to your keeping pins inside the city limits of Meridian.
You said at the time that you were aware of the fact that hogs were
not to be maintained in the city limits o` "Aeridian and that you would move
there within seven (7) days. However, an inspection of the premises on the
morning of July 26, 1966, revealed that you still have hogs on your premises.
An order to remove the animals and clean up the !ranure was given to Mrs.
Bolen at the time of the visit.
Section 2 - 405 paragraph 9 of the Ordinance of the City of Meridian
states that no cattle, horses, sheep, hogs, Roats, rabbits, or poultry ti
h
shall be raised or maintained in residence A zone. This section would
also prohibit the raising of calves.
If the hogs have not been removed from the premises by Saturday
July 30, 1966, and the accumulation of manure cleaned up and properly
disposed of the matter will he referred to the City Attorney for legal
action.
