WIDE AND 330 FEET LONG IN THE SE4 of SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH,
RANGE 1 WEST, BOISE MERIDIAN, IN ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, OWNED BY THE
CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
The matter of the sale of a strip of land 8 feet wide and
330 feet long in the SE -4 of Section 12, Township 3 North, Rang�l
West, Boise Meridian, in Ada County, Idaho, owned by the City
of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, was presented to the Council by
the Mayor for consideration. After full and careful consideration,
Councilman S'fie,e _ introduced and moved the
adoption of the following Resolution of the City of Meridian, Ada
County, Idaho, to -wit:
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF A STRIP OF LAND 8 FEET
WIDE AND 330 FEET LONG IN THE SE4 OF SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH,
RANGE 1 WEST, BOISE MERIDIAN, IN ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
WHEREAS, The City of Meridian is the owner of the following
described real estate, situate, lying and being in the said City
of Meridian, to -wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the SE4 of Section 12,
Township 3 North, Range 1 West, Boise Meridian, in Ada County,
Idaho; thence South along the West line of said SE -4, 652 feet
to a point, the real place of beginning; thence East parallel
to the North line of said SE -4, 330 feet to a point; thence South
8 feet to a point; thence West 330 feet to the West line of said
SE -'4; thence North 8 feet to the real place of beginning; and,
WHEREAS, the said real estate is not used as a public park,
playground or public building site, nor is, the same needed for
municipal purposes by the City of Meridian; and
WHEREAS, said lot has value and in the opinion of the City
Council can be sold at this time and should be sold without
further delay, because it is idle land no longer used by the City,
and
WHEREAS, it is for the best interests of the City of Meridian
and the inhabitants thereof, and the City Council deems it for the
good of the City of Meridian that said tract be sold at the best
price obtainable; and
WHEREAS, the City of Meridian has legal authority under the
above mentioned circumstances and under the provisions of Section
50-1008 Idaho Code, to sell and convey the tract above described,
after first publishing notice of intention to sell said property
once each week for two successive weeks in a local newspaper of
general circulation in the City of Meridian;

1. That the above described tract owned by the City of
Meridian be offered for sale to the highest bidder for cash, lawful
money of the United States, all bids to be in writing and sealed
and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Meridian, on or before

3. The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to reject
any and all bids.
4. That upon the acceptance by the City Council of any
