Groundwater elevations
Dear Sonya,
A geotechnical evaluation for the project site was performed by ALLWEST Testing& Engineering, Inc.,
with subsurface soil information summarized in their report dated 28 January 2020. They also
performed groundwater monitoring of the project site from December 2017 through July 2020 with the
results of those readings provided in their letter dated July 2020. According to the reports, seasonal
high groundwater can be anticipated at depths from approximately 7.6-ft to over 13-ft below the
existing ground surface. Based on the information provided in the geotechnical reports, the roadway
finished grade centerline elevations were designed to be more than 3-feet above the anticipated
groundwater elevations.
