Dear Planning Staff,
Platform is pleased to submit the above referenced project to the City of Meridian for a Vacation approval associated
with the referenced property. The purpose of the application is to vacate the 20' landscape buffer.
KB Fabrication&Welding is relocating to 2675 E. Lanark which is currently bare ground.The proposed plans include
construction of an 11,600sf Office and Shop Building and a 3,600 sf Paint Building with related site improvements
(CZC, DES A-2020-0129).As proposed, a portion of the Shop will straddle the property line between 2675 E. Lanark
and 2681 E. Lanark. Bill Brown (owner of KB) owns both parcels. A Boundary Adjustment is required to construct
the proposed improvements (PBA-2020-0007). With the proposed boundary adjustment/lot consolidation, there is
no longer a need for the 20' landscape buffer.
We respectfully request your approval of this Vacation application to vacate the 20' landscape buffer. Please
