Website:www.meridaincity.org 9 November 19, 2020 Re: Annexation Property owners, Mark and Wendy Enos have plans to build a shop on their property that will include about 650 sq/ft of upstairs "bonus room" that will include a bathroom and wet bar. A Central District Health representative came onsite and determined that because the bonus room qualifies as an additional bedroom we would not be allowed to tie in to our exiting septic tank because it is at max capacity of 5 bedrooms. Also, due to constraints like the location of our well and the neighbors well and the irrigation canal that runs on the back of the property, it would not be possible to add an additional septic system. So in order to allow for additional sewer capacity for the proposed bathroom in the shop we were advised to annex to the city's water and sewer hook ups. Please see the attached drawings that show the location of the proposed shop on the property as well as the existing home.
