After a lengthy discussion the Parks and Recreation Commission approved to rename the 5-Mile Creek Pathway "Bud Porter Pathway" in honor of Bud Porter who has been an asset to the commission and the City of Meridian as a whole. The Commission is recommending the pathway be renamed in honor of Bud Porter and for it to be sent forward to the Mayor and Council for their approval. The Parks Staff is requesting this item be placed on the Council agenda December 20,2005 meeting. The Staff Summary of the Parks and Recreation Commission is attached to be forward to City Council for approval.
