Sadly it's come to my attention that at the Planning and Zoning meeting Mr. Hewitt and Engineering Solutions were questioning the validity of my statement
that we had to rehome one of our dogs as a result of the construction of this unapproved emergency road.
The rehoming of Russell is something that continues to affect us since we miss him tremendously and my daughter is having a lot of trouble coping with
it. Luckily we are able to go see him from time to time, but it is of course not the same.
I hate that I even need to do this, but attached is the proof of the change of ownership. I blacked out the name, address, and phone information of his new
family because they didn't ask to be dragged into this. Scroll down toward the bottom and you will see the change of information for his license and
microchip. I can provide you with a copy that doesn't have blacked out info, but I don't want to have that uploaded to public record so as to protect his new
family's anonymity.

o I wear plastic gloves when I apply it to his neck because it is absorbed
through the skin and I don't want it to touch my skin.
o I also tell all the family members 1 kids that they need to avoid touching the
neck 1 upper back area for a bit. I'm not really sure how long you should
avoid it, so we just are careful.

• 2 tablets per day. He likes them and will eat them like a treat.

Food (he eats twice a day)
• COMM grain free salmon and sweet potato
o I use a % cup scooper and give him 2 overflowing % cup scoops at
breakfast and the same at dinner
o We put the Fidospore capsule in his bowl. You can just put it in whole and
he will eat it.
• We have several bags to give you
• For a special occasional r e him a dinner of canned
p gourmet dinner we will make 9
salmon, cooked sweet potato, some rice, maybe some carrots or a version
thereof.
• NO onions/garlic/chives, chocolate, grapes/raisins, citrus, avocado, coconut,
macadamia nuts, milk/dairy, nuts in general (PB is from a legume), xylitol, yeast
dough, chicken bones because they splinter (we've never given them any animal
bones (we give them the Nylabones)

• DEFINITELY put him in there on 4th of July if you won't be home. Fireworks are
super scary to dogs and they can get scared and disoriented and run.

• Has to be shown which plush toys are his. There is a chicken plush toy that he
had at home and loved, so we bought him a new one.

• Go on (when you need some space)
• Get in bed (when you want him to go to the kennel)
• Sit (elbow to your side and palm up)
• Down (elbow to your side and palm down)
• Shake (shake your hand / hold hands)
• "Up" with two claps (he will go up on back legs to hug /dance with you)

• Go potty
• When he is barking (i.e. at the UPS man), ask him to come to you and sit down.
You can also say "be quiet" at the same time. He settles down much faster if you
have him come to you and sit down.
Bath appointments every 4 weeks (haircut every 3rd time, which is 12 weeks)
Goldendoodles can look very different just based on their haircut they are given. I have
the groomer cut his ear hair with the clippers for more of a "Golden Retriever' look
versus the goofy poodle look.

Carrie works out of her home and her hours are M-F 9am4pm, but I usually call ahead
and make an appointment if I need to get some batteries (I think they also ship them) or
if you need her to ever reprogram Russell's collar, get a new collar, or have her work on
the inside unit (she will need you to bring his Invisible fence collar if you need to have
her work on the unit because she programs them together).
