ATTENTION : CITY CLERK MAY WE PLEASE HAVE A RESPONSEI111I111111II111
These comments are in regards to the proposed new subdivision , Cache Creek ( H2O20-0105 ), NW corner
of E . Victory and S . Locust Grove Rd .
We live in the subdivision , Cabella Creek, adjacent to the proposed Subdivision Cache Creek, on the
corner of Sagemore and S . Bailey Way .
In the proposal of 41 new homes they have not provided ANY exits onto Locust Grove Rd . or Victory Rd .
WHY? ? ? They indicate the only exits and entrances would be Sagemore and Loggers Pass which is
through Cabella Creek Subdivision . This would increase traffic into our association by 80 to 100
vehicles . One of our primary concerns is SAFETY ISSUES, like access for Emergency Vehicles . This
developer has not provided any emergency entrance or exits for this type of vehicle . With his plot plan
these vehicles will have to go through Cabella Creek ONLY, taking more time which could be CRITICAL.
We have NEVER seen any subdivision built not to have its own ENTRANCE OR EXITS . Please find
attached our letter of 8,11,1010 of which we have had no response .
The City of Meridian needs a building MORATORIUM as your Roads are not adequate to continue
I building on every piece of vacant land and not make infrastructure changes (the Roads ) to handle the
increase in traffic .
We realize this would increase your Revenue by Property Taxes but homeowners' should not be
burdened with your lack of consideration by compounding the problem of this association and not make
the improvements to accommodate the increase traffic this new subdivision would create into our
Properties .
As I have stated in our previous letter, we feel this Builder-Schultz Development, SHOULD BE DENIED —
U — the developer provides other ENTRANCES AND EXITS into his own association .

SUBJECT: Proposed NEW Cache Subdivision
We are in receipt of the Annexation Preliminary Plat for proposed 40
homes in the Cache Subdivision, at the corner of Victory Rd. and Locust
Grove .
First we are both in our 80's, disabled and have made this the last home we
will purchase. We have done a lot of work to make our home very pristine
and comfortable. We have lived in this location for going on 9 years. We
have major medical problems including my husband just been diagnosed
with sever Osteoporosis, meaning he is to walk with an upright walker at all
times to prevent a fatal fall. Myself, I have severe conjunctivitis of my eyes
meaning I cannot be exposed to smoke, dust, and pollen and construction
debris, if I am around any these containments I will get a severe infection in
my eyes and spend the next 2 to 3 weeks in my ophthalmologists office and
use prescribed medication for the infection, at the cost of $85 .00 after my
insurance has paid. This is very serious because I have only ONE EYE ! In
i
addition I had to call the Fire Department about the previous tenant as he
was burning trash and the smoke was detrimental to my eyes. We are NOT
kidding.
In this proposal the ONLY entrance and exit are Loggers Pass and
Sagemoor, through Cabella Creek Association. My question is why there
aren't exits onto Locust Grove or Victory Rd.? This increase of residents
and traffic though Cabella Creek Association is NOT acceptable . To have a
development with the ONLY 2 exits and entrance through another
association is unfairly penalizing the residents of Cabella Creek and have to
shoulder this increase in the daily now of traffic
Cabella Creek is very quiet with very little traffic and we wish to keep it that
way. We do believe in growth and progress but not when our association
will have the burden of such an increase of traffic and people.
We do know this is not the final plan or even approved by the City of
Meridian, however we want all parties aware of the surrounding residents
and their feelings about being used for their convenience. We did not buy
our home for it to become the corner of a FREEWAY!
We feel it is your responsibility to provide the proper access and exit that it
does not create undue stress on surrounding properties.
We will not be able to attend any Public Hearings concerning this
development therefore all our concerns will be addressed to the City of
Meridian, Planning Commission.
