Hi, I am sending this email as I would like for it to be made a part of the city notes.
I am a resident of Bridgetower West and I am writing this email in response to the Public hearing notice received
11/25/2020 and postmarked 11/23/2020 for a hearing on rezoning the lot behind my residence. I am troubled by this
notice due to.
1: The neighborhood meeting requirement was not met. We did receive a notice date 8/5 with a meeting date of
8/13. This notice was dated 8/5, but somehow we all received it the day prior to the meeting. This notice stated to go
to https://www.gotomeeting.me/terasa/vicenza-noth-neighborhood-meeting. However this link did not work. several
of us called in on the phone number provided. At this time, Barbara stated that she was having issues with the
link. Several people provided their name and phone numbers to Barbara.
2. during this phone call it was a complete mess. Everyone was speaking over each other trying to ask questions. Most
of which Barbara claimed she would not answer as she was not able to release that information or she did not know the
answer. The conference call was such a mess that she stopped and stated that she was going to reschedule and be in
touch. NO ONE has since heard a word until the post card issued by the city was received on 11/25.
3. I was told there was a record claiming that they held an in person neighborhood meeting - which is completely false.
4. The meeting held by Barbara was so shady. I expressed concern to Barbara that it was, that they were not being
transparent and asked if she was going to claim this was the meeting (which clearly they did). I was told that they
wanted to be transparent and that she was going to reschedule the meeting.
Thank you,
Patricia Fritschle
