Dear Commissioners:
This is in response to the Notice of Public Hearing sent to Idaho Power Company received in our
office September 22, 2020, regarding the possible vacation of three certain parcels within the
Amended Plat of Rowan Addition to Meridian identified in the attached public notice (exhibit
A), legal description(exhibit B), and aerial image (exhibit C).
Idaho Power's records indicate that the Company does maintain electrical facilities within or
near the proposed parcels. We are acceptable to vacating the three parcels however, we must
retain all existing rights related thereto and require that any vacation of the parcels by Ada
County Highway District reserve to Idaho Power the continued right to operate, maintain, repair,
replace, or otherwise modify or add to Idaho Power's facilities within the Right-of-Way,
including the right of ingress and egress thereto.
Thank you for providing Idaho Power Company the opportunity to review and comment upon
the subject petition for vacation.

Ave between E. Broadway Ave and the Railroad tracks.
To Whom It May Concern:
The Ada County Highway District has received a petition from the adjacent property owner requesting the vacation
and abandonment of public rights of way as shown on the attached legal description.
Enclosed are the legal description and a drawing of the right-of-way that the Ada County Highway District has been
requested to consider for vacation and abandonment. It is requested that you review the enclosures and advise
this office no later than September 30, 2020, of your present use and future plans for this area, including, but not
limited to present/future bike/pedestrian pathways, city parks, future access to and from properties and public
rights-of-way, etc. Comments will be used to assist the Board of Commissioners of the Ada County Highway
District in the disposition of this request for the right-of-way vacation and abandonment.
After their review and consideration, should the Board of Commissioners of the Ada County Highway District elect
to accept this petition and application for vacation, a public hearing will be tentatively scheduled for Wednesday
November 18, 2020 at 12:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the auditorium of the Ada
County Highway District, 3775 Adams Street, Boise, Idaho.
Addressees having an interest in this right-of-way vacation will be advised of disposition of proceedings upon
receipt of written request.
