As per your request, I have reviewed the available groundwater data for the referenced
property. The property is located on the north side of Victory Road and west side of Locust
Grove Road in Meridian, Idaho. Ten Mile Creek passes by the southwest corner of the property.
Well logs from the Idaho Department of Water Resources were reviewed. Logs for three wells
on nearby or adjacent properties were selected and are included in the Appendix. These well
logs indicate the static water table is 27 to 65 feet below the ground surface.
SITE has begun the geotechnical exploration and recommendation report you requested for this
project. Out test pits logs are attached and indicate that shallow water is present and therefore
conflict with the IDWR data above. A season long groundwater study is underway and will be
completed at the end of the 2020 irrigation season. We anticipate delivery of the completed
report in early November 2020.
While the groundwater is shallow, SITE believes this to be irrigation water perched water atop
the cemented silt sand layer found above the deeper sand and gravel materials. Based upon
our test pits and labwork and the surrounding residential developments, construction of the
planned subdivision is geotechnically feasible.
