Hello Sonya Here is a document I would like added to the record for Skybreak Subdivision meeting Oct. 15, 2020 I have also aded a word doc of the same for your convenience. Please let me know you get this okay. Regards Dean Kidd October 15, 2020 this okay. Meridian City Council Hello, my name is Dean Kidd. I am a resident of the Vantage Pointe Subdivision and the HOA President. We are a small subdivision with 16 estate style homes on 1-acre lots. Our subdivision is located south from the crossroads of Eagle Road and Lake Hazel Road with the planned Skybreak Subdivision utilizing our northern border. There are proposed portions of the Skybreak Subdivision directly adjacent to 5 of our residences within Vantage Pointe Sub. These residences have their own concerns and are being addressed individually. 1 The first item I wish to emphasize is we do not oppose community growth. We understand the valley is growing and we are accepting the idea of new neighbors provided there is thought put into how new subdivisions are approved regarding transitions. It is my understanding the Skybreak Subdivision is comprised of over 350+ dwellings with many lots approved for R-8 density and greater. The transition from 1-acre estate lots to higher density subdivisions is where I believe more thought needs to be considered. We need to use more consideration with better transition zones between subdivisions like Vantage Pointe and proposals like Skybreak. This is not taking in consideration for the added dust, and lifestyle interruption that will be encountered. I have attended informational meetings with the representative for this developer and I feel we are not being told the whole truth. I also feel the developer will do what meets his needs not considering the optimum for our subdivision. I ask that you do not approve this proposal without consideration for better design amendments to a less aggressive transition.
