Hi Charlene,
I am one of the homeowners on Balata Court here in Meridian. With regard to this issue, for what it’s worth,
i’m against the annexation of this land for yet another “emergency road”. it will compromise property values
here, especially the house across the street from me where they will literally be staring at this road instead of
what used to be a view of a golf course which they paid for. I just found out about this comment thing today,
so there’s a good chance my neighbors will not have voiced their opinion on this subject. Please do not take
their silence to mean that they feel any less vehemently about this subject than I do. Ada County has already
denied this proposal i believe. You will gain nothing by stepping into a situation that will have no winners.
Please respect the sanctity of our homes, which we have spent our lives building, maintaining and paying taxes
for.
