B Archive I have attached the enclosure dimension requirements as well as the approach requirements
for all City's and Customers we service within Ada County and Canyon County. We do not
Notes stamp plans per say but rather sign off via e-mail per plans attached and the City of Meridian
accepts those a -mails as confirmation and approval. In regards to the plans you attached the
11081 23 length falls within the requirements Meridian City as well as Republic Services,but the Width is
a few feet short. If you have any questions please reach out and I will be happy to answer

POLICY FOR SOLID WASTE SERVICE LOCATION
DESIGN STANDARDS
I. INTRODUCTION
A. This policy details requirements for commercial solid waste service, which will provide
for the safe and efficient collection of trash and recycling. Public Works staff shall
review and have final approval over safety factors and space requirements, including
enclosure specifications, access to solid waste containers, and proper UlAdmice, height and
width clearances.
II. SCOPE
A. This policy applies to all commercial properties within the City of Meridian including but
not limited to; office, retail, restaurants, multi -family housing (hotels, condos,
apartments, townhomes), mixed -use development, flospitats c#inTcs, churches, vr�dustrial
businesses, and non -profits which use commercial solid waste containers and service with
scheduled collection.
B. Exterior solid waste enclosures are required for all new commercial solid waste service
locations except those sites with alley collection, compactors, or an approved internal
room for solid waste storage (Section V).
C. Existing solid waste enclosures will be required to be constructed to current standards
for; construction which impact parking or driveway areas; construction which restricts
access to, modifies, or changes the location of an existing enclosure, and interior
modifications which change the use of the building.

A. The size of the enclosure will depend on what types of containers are to be utilized. The
following chart details the required enclosure specifications for various solid waste
containers available from the City's contracted waste hauler:
