To your question about the current state of Ten Mile Creek/Drain, attached are photos illustrating that the depth of the
waterway is roughly 6’, top of bank to bottom of channel. The water depth is difficult to ascertain given it is completely
cattails. From this, though, it shows that the channel is 15’-20’ in width and the water is only 18”- 24” deep. I can hear
the water trickling along and Cattails grow in shallow water . . we have no plans to clear out the drain as it is natural
habitat. The irrigation district (Boise Project Board of Control) can through regular maintenance practices, otherwise,
permission from the US Corps of Engineers may be required.
