To Whom it May Concern,
My name is Heather Hernandez I live at 2811 S Alfani Road in Meridian in the Strada Bellissima neighborhood.
The purpose of email is to voice my disapproval and share mine and my families concerns with the proposal of
the Victory Apartment complex to be built on the Southwest corner of Meridian road and Victory. I am first
and foremost highly concerned and worried about the safety of the street that runs directly in front of my
home, Alfani Way, as it is this road is very busy as people use it to access not only Strada Bellissima subdivision
but also Bear Creek subdivision. As the first home you encounter if you turn off Meridian road onto Maestra,
then turning onto Alfani I see on daily basis cars speeding through my subdivision and people trying to cut
through my street to avoid the long wait on Meridian road at the Victory stoplight. I myself have almost been
clipped in my vehicle pulling backwards from my garage while driving my son to school in the mornings, and
my neighbor who lives directly across from me had his sons vehicle hit by a car coming down Marista in the
winter. I have the unique prospective from the front of my home- more specifically my large home office
window to see cars pulling off Meridian road and travel west on Maestra, then left on Alfani to get to where
they are going, and too often its way to fast. The proposal of this apartment complex as I understand would
directly impact my subdivision and comprise the safety of my neighbors. I am begging you to reconsider this
proposal- not only does this complex put myself and my neighbors at risk for increased congestion in our area
which will contribute to traffic accidents it also adds more stress to our already over capacity schools . This
addition also affects our property values, we live in a high dollar single family homes, building this complex
where it is being planned is detrimental to my property value as well as my neighbors . My family and my
neighbors ask you to please change the zoning to one that is the best fit for the families that currently live
here and the ones moving here in the future, thank you for time.
