Subject:Proposed annexation and zoning application at the southwest corner of Victory and
Meridian
To Whom it may Concern/City Council, I am writing to you adding my opinion on the proposed annexation and
zoning application at the southwest corner of Victory and Meridian intersection for the development of 17 acres
consisting of 188 two bedroom high density apartments along with 380 parking spots.
Traffic is already difficult on Victory and Meridian and this zoning change for high density apartments
will increase that. As I drive south of here I see major developments all over, and look at the growth of
Kuna along Meridian road, all I can foresee is increased load of vehicles on the roads and
infrastructure in the area. If I understand correctly this area was already zoned for apartments but at a
lesser density level. Rezoning to high density is a betrayal of past zoning plans and will decrease the
livability of the area. Do the right thing and reject this rezoning to retain the livability of this area.
