I absolutely am against the Victory Apartments. My reasons: There is already a huge apartment complex on the opposite corner (South East corner of Meridian Rd) from the proposed Victory site. There are 2 huge apartment complexes on Overland Road in the very near area---that's one mile away. Literally thousands of homes are being and have been added to the area as I write this. I doubt the city needs the additional tax revenue. I am retired and if the taxes increase much more I will be forced out---just as local buyers are forced out of the housing market. How will Victory handle all the traffic? I'm confident that traffic will not be allowed ingress off Meridian Rd. Victory will be more bogged down than it already is and it will be very difficult to get out on the road. What about the noise pollution???? I would like to know who the Developer is and what state they are from---please advise. What will happen when these Apartments become tenements? Have we not learned anything from other cities? Please vote no on the Victory Apartments. We have our share of apartments in the immediate area already. Thank you Suzanne House srh802@gmail.com 1 Charlene Way From:Suzanne H <srh802@gmail.com> Sent:Monday, August 17, 2020 2:16 PM To:City Clerk Subject:Victory Apartments meeting 8-20-2020 I am ill and handicap but would appreciate my opinion being heard.
