Please add my comments to the public record -
I live right off Meridian road, Elk Run II. We can't hardly get out of our street onto Meridian Rd. With more and
more housing and traffic proposed for areas around Victory, it will be impossible for us to get out onto the
street.
Not to mention will delay first responders to our communities. The exit to Meridian from Davenport that was
changed last year, severely impacted our neighbors in Elk Run I.
Those poor people have to either turn right onto Meridian Rd, then make a u-turn somewhere or go all the way
around by Wal-Mart, through Bear Run.
We very often have to also go all the way around by Wal-Mart through Bear Run to get back to Meridian Rd
because the traffic is so bad.
It used to be bad just during commute times (morning and afternoon), but with more and more construction, it's
bad all the time.
I hear from my neighbors there even more proposals to build several more homes and apartment complexes
around Victory Rd and the Strada Bellissima area.
There are many of us that currently live in existing housing developments that have been here for many years
and we are all VERY concerned about the increase in traffic.
As a side note, I haven't been able to open any of my East facing windows (facing Meridian Rd) for the past
year because of the increased vehicle noise and exhaust fumes!
It's bad, really bad.
PLEASE consider a traffic routing plan that will ease the already heavy traffic on Meridian Rd BEFORE you
add more housing and traffic to an already overloaded street.
Our health depends on this!!
