Subject:Concerns about the proposed Victory Apartments development
Hi,
I am a homeowner in Meridian, near the proposed new development on Victory and Meridian. Changing the zoning to
accommodate this complex is absurd and a significant burden on the surrounding community.
There are plenty of valid reasons to block this change:
Massive amounts of traffic on an already stressed intersection. Adding hundreds of residents to that area is a
huge mistake. Victory Rd is not built for that kind of capacity.
Overcrowded schools in this neighborhood. As it is, children aren't assured of what elementary school they will
attend.
Safety issues for children at the nearby park.
It's shocking how often Meridian thoughtlessly approves new developments without any consideration to the
surrounding infrastructure or residents. Please don't make this mistake here.
