As we were talking about it I was wondering why we didn't go that direction initially anyway, I think it's a great place to put the path and it'll benefit existing residents more that way too & We are planning a frontage road within the medical campus parallel to Chinden—see a rough sketch attached here, the frontage road is pink.We're revising our original site plan to include that road and some other things Planning wanted to see. We were originally planning a micropathway within the 30' landscape buffer, so we'll just switch it out for the 10' path.The frontage road will be located to the south of Chinden, I think we would put the 10' pathway along the south part of that road to the west of the site and bring it up to Chinden from there. I do agree, we'll need to make sure pedestrian/vehicular traffic doesn't conflict. We'll be coming in with a CUP for the medical campus, maybe that could be a condition of approval for that application to make sure it's taken care of at CZC and Design Review level? Like the idea of a pathway in a buffer(and AS a buffer/link)! 1 I'm a little curious about what's happening along Chinden. You were talking about an extra lane, I think? Is there any kind of frontage road between the pathway and the project? If there are ped/vehicle conflicts I'm sure we can mitigate for them. Definitely ok to move forward with this. Hope you're having a good week so far.After our conversation last week we brainstormed some ideas to get the 10' multi-use pathway from Chinden to the south within our development. I referred back to a sketch that you gave us at one of our pre-apps and think the option you noted on the west would actually work perfectly.The pathway in that location would provide integration with the medical campus and existing/proposed residential components while also providing a physical barrier for the homes on Serenity Lane. We're also planning a 30' landscape buffer in that area which would be a great place to locate the 10' multi-use pathway.Would it be okay to modify our plan to include the 10' pathway in that location, adjacent to Chinden and connecting with a 7' sidewalk on Levi Ln/Rustic Oak Way?We would connect the pathway on the south to Rustic Oak Way and extend to the south and to the east. See rough sketch of 10' multi-use pathway in red and 7' sidewalk in yellow. It looks like this plan would coincide well with your initial thoughts and what the pathways plan shows too.
