Ref: 142 E Calderwood Dr.
The lot is at the north east corner of the intersection of Calderwood Dr and S Meridian Rd.
The lot size is .443 ac and the owner intends to develop it with an approx. 4000 sq. ft building.
The building is single owner occupied and per Meridian ord. requires 8 parking places to include a van
accessible. The building is a single story and wood framed with exterior finishes of Stucco, Stone and
Siding panels. Stucco control joints will also be placed as architectural features for added geometry and
scale of the building. The 2-color stucco will accent the building base with a darker color and the lighter
in the field of the upper areas. There will be a steel awning at the front main entry and a small awning at
the auxiliary exit door to the east side. The exterior walls will be capped with a crown like mold trim and
finished in a high light color to match the darker stucco. Windows & door fenestration a will be the dark
or black anodized, integral, or painted frames. The architectural style is very much a modern commercial
look with many of the elements present that are reflected from adjoining businesses.
The majority of the landscaping is already in place with grass and trees along E Calderwood Dr. which
will remain. Grass landscaping will continue along the west side along with an accessible sidewalk
connecting the building to the public. Planters have been placed along the base of the building and with
durable small landscaping rock for Mulch and with durable planting of Barberry. This planting schemes
continues into the platers and north perimeter around the parking. The required Parking is of standard
size required and additional parking is provided as compact parking along to north border. Total parking
shown is 18.
The garbage and enclosure are located to the north and east of the lot and directly adjacent to the
neighbor dumpster. It is directly accessible from a common drive.
The roof is a low slope and storm water will be collected and stored in a structure under the parking lot.
All stormwater will remain on site.
