NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of
the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho that
the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Meridian
will hold a public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East
Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of 6:00 p.m.
on Thursday,July 16,2020 for the purpose of reviewing and
considering the following applications:
City of Meridian Planning Division for a request for text
amendments to update certain sections of the City's Unified
Development Code (UDC) pertaining to Code Enforcement
and Penalties in Chapter 1; Specific Use Standards in Chap-
ter 4;the Public Hearing Process in Chapter 5;and the Sub-
division Design and Improvement Standards in Chapter 6,for
the 2020 UDC Text Amendment(H-2020-0072).
City of Meridian Planning Division to amend the text of
the City of Meridian Comprehensive Plan by adding priority
levels and assigning responsible department leads to the ex-
isting policies of the Plan. This amendment makes no revi-
sions to the text of the Plan, except to add priorities and re-
sponsible leads for the policies adopted in December of
2019, for the 2020 Comprehensive Plan Policy Prioritiza-
tion(H-2020-0073).
Hesscomm Corp. for Annexation and Zoning of 7.35
acres of land with an R-8 zoning district and a Preliminary
Plat consisting of 26 single-family residential lots and 2 com-
mon lots for Teakwood Place Subdivision (H-2020-0006),
located at 1835 E.Victory Rd.
Providence Properties, LLC for Annexation of 126.53
acres of land with R-8 (99.53 acres), R-15 (8.82 acres) and
C-G (18.17 acres), zoning districts; and a Preliminary Plat
consisting of 384 buildable lots, 35 common lots and 5 other
lots on 126.53 acres of land in the R-8, R-15 and C-G zoning
districts for Prescott Ridge (H-2020-0047), located on the
south side of W. Chinden Blvd. and on the east side of N.
McDermott Rd.
Riley Planning Services for a Rezone of 4.71 acres of
land from the R-4 zoning district (Medium-Low Density Resi-
dential) to the R-8 zoning district (Medium-Density Residen-
tial) and a Preliminary Plat consisting of 27 single-family
residential lots and 3 common lots on 4.71 acres of land in
the R-4 zoning district for Horse Meadows Subdivision (H-
2020-0060),located at 710 N.Black Cat Rd.
Individuals wishing to testify in person may do so by attend-
ing the public hearing at the above-noted time and date.Oral
testimony may be limited to 3 minutes per person. Written
testimony may be submitted up to 72 hours prior to the Pub-
lic Hearing via mail or in person to Meridian City Clerk,33 E.
Broadway Ave, Suite 104, Meridian, ID, 83642; by email to
cityclerk@meridiancity.org; by voicemail at 208-288-5607; or
by texting "Comment" to 31996. All testimony and materials
received or presented become property of the City of Meridi-
