From: Austin Miller <Amiller@achdidaho.org> Sent: Thursday, June 4, 2020 4:10 PM To: Sonya Allen <sallen@meridiancity.org> Subject: RE: Landing South External Sender - Please use caution with links or attachments. Hi Sonya, It was discussed with the applicant during our review so it only makes sense that the question would come up. A local street intersection onto Linder Road would not meet District policies. The site does not have sufficient frontage to meet spacing requirements from Gander Drive to the south and Pintail Drive to the north. We did look at the traffic counts on Gander Drive. Even with the recent construction of The Landing 12 and this project factored in, traffic volumes on Gander Drive are anticipated to be well below what is allowed on a local street. PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN OPENING ATTACHMENTS OR LINKS INSIDE THIS EMAIL.\] Hi Austin, I have several letters from neighbors requesting Joshua St. is allowed to connect to Linder Rd. to alleviate the long cul- de-sac/dead end street and reduce traffic on internal local streets from this development and from the development to the north of this site. Is that anything that ACHD would consider? Just checking before I’m asked at the hearing tonight . Thanks, Sonya Allen | Associate Planner City of Meridian | Community Development Dept. 33 E.
