Verraso North is a project located at 3543 E. Tecate Lane. Originally
it was approved October 4th, 2018 as a 56 unit mid-rise building with a
general parking garage located on the ground level. That approval was
modified to 36 units on October 24, 2019. The reduction of units and
design fit more comfortably as we opted to add even more “green space”
in the heart of the project to inspire residents. With additional amenities
that now include a pergola, dog parlor, dog park, as well as a community
garden residents will enjoy time in and out of their homes. Although two
designs were submitted for the new look, the more “modern Brownstone”
look with a fresh urban feel with a throwback to a classic design was
unanimously approved. Also, each unit now offers a private garage and a
nice family 3 bedroom layout. This new design keeps in harmony with the
other Verraso phases and keeps the community feel more cohesive in both
demographics and design. A variety of stucco and metal siding consistent
with other approved phases offers a neoteric feel. A new office was added
with an additional two parking spaces. Less density translated to more
quality with parking and open space not to mention the individual units are
more private and personal. We hope to continue to improve upon the
standard that our other Verraso projects have set.
