I have big concerns with the proposed plan for this parcel.  Amount of additional vehicles at this already over crowded intersection. Not to mention all the new homes that are to be built on the North West corner of Chinden and Black cat.  Additional kids that will need to be enrolled in already ridiculous over crowding of schools. Currently kids here are in the (Star school district) A complete town away that itself is booming and overcrowded. We need to take care of the situation at hand before we continue to compound the issue. This location would actually be a great location for an elementary school.  Home values would impact our home values negatively. Spurwing heights is an upscale neighborhood, adding this would not be a positive.  Foot traffic intrusion. Residents of this proposed area will find their way into the Spurwing Heights neighborhood utilizing our amenities. Picnic area, Park, Pond. Meridian has a huge problem when it comes to overcrowding and our schools. Kids living in Meridian such as mine are subject to an elementary out of town. Compounding our problem and adding to Star's overcrowding issue. This building of residents needs to stop. We need to take care of who is already here before we look at adding more. Traffic is terrible, I sit at blackcat and chinden intersection for 5 minutes plus leaving for work. Adding additional housing is unthinkable. I hope you take these items into consideration. Lets look after our future our kids. Please deny this proposal along with any other future plans to create any type of homes here. How about an Elementary School. Something that is actually needed. Thank you Lee Schohr 1
