Subject:Support for Elisabeth Songe - Frazier Council Review

To whom it may concern,
I would like to express my deepest support of Elisabeth Songe and her childcare business. Elisabeth has worked diligently over the
past 2.5 years to build a business that serves others and allows her family to build a beautiful life here in Boise. If not allowed to
continue their business, not only would Elisabeth and her family struggle to make payments on their home, but numerous families
would be out of a childcare. Consider this report on the lack of affordable childcare in the Treasure Valley from just one year
ago: https://www.idahostatesman.com/news/local/community/boise/article227323624.html. Removing another affordable
childcare serves no one.
Elisabeth does everything she can to mitigate the impact on her neighbors - do we really think a small, in-home childcare that
provides its own transportation is truly going to cause traffic issues?
At a time where other opportunities for employment are scarce (not to mention dangerous) due to COVID-19, and families need
access to affordable and reliable childcare more than ever, I implore you to allow Elisabeth Songe to continue operating her
childcare.
Thank you.
