Another multi-family development, in addition to the two that are in progress now in this area, will cause a significant increase in traffic, noise and use of streets and facilities in our neighborhood. 2. Several realtors and residents in this neighborhood (Spurwing Heights) feel that these numerous developments will significantly negatively impact property values of the single family homes. 3. Project density will cause too many cars using the surface streets and will further impact traffic on Chinden and surrounding areas. 4. Additional density will cause this to no longer be the quiet neighborhood that we chose. This was one of the main reasons we chose to buy our home. 5. Additional foot traffic will affect the nice amenities that our HOA installed for the use of the members of the HOA. 6. Spurwing Heights is an upscale development which pays increased property taxes and should not be downgraded by dense multi family projects all around it! 7. If this is a transient type project, (rentals) many problems such as loitering, littering, noise and increased local traffic will occur. 8. It will also impact other city services such as schools and hospitals. 9. We are watching the development in our area to determine if we want to consider relocating. We hope there will be serious consideration to these issues as there is significant concern in our neighborhood. Larry and Renee Walker 4569 W. Sugar Tree Dr. Meridian, Id 83646 1
