We pay increased property taxes to attest. The proposed Apartment complex at the corner of Black Cat and Chinden, jeopardizes that is my believe. 1. the property values will decrease 2. the schools will be over crowded 3. The increase in traffic will make it very difficult just leaving the neighborhood to go the store, bank, movies, etc. 4. There will be trespassing onto our private community that we have paid for and pay to maintain. I am not saying stop developing, I am just saying stop counter-productive developing. It will decrease the value of not only everything here is Spurwing, but of every development going up. So taxes/ revenue from new developments and property revenue for City, county will also suffer. Most importantly, when looking for a new place to live, new buyers might be persuaded to move on down the road without high intensity housing to Star, Nampa, etc. Food for thought.
