NarrativeThe intended use of the property is to build a bank that will be for both personal and business use. The bank will be owned by First Federal Savings Bank of Twin Falls. Level 5 is the contractor. There will be a mortgage office in the building. This bank will help the community to get personal loans, car loans, HELOC and home equity. As for helping with businesses, the bank will offer lines of credit, SBA loans, and business visas. 1. Architectural Character: a. Cohesive Design: The bank will have a cohesive design that has a good feel. b. Building Scale: The building scale in the plans will often be different depending on what is shown. The site plan is 3/32” =1’. c. Building Form: The bank will have a modern feel to it. d. Architectural Elements: The visible elements will include stone veneer, fiber cement board, metal panel system, cement plaster, and storefront glass. e. Materials: Steel and concrete for the foundation and framework. f. Signs and/or Lighting: Because businesses need signs and lighting, the bank will have appropriate signage and lighting to be noticed but not too much to be overbearing and distracting. 2. Parking Lots: The parking lots will be next to the building and allow safe access to the bank entrances. 3. Pedestrian walkways and facilities: No walkways or facilities will be affected by the bank. The previous use of the property was farming. A lot of the surrounding area was also used for farming based off the historical aerial photos of the property and surrounding area.
