First Federal Bank ASM JustificationsExternal Sender - Please use caution with links or attachments. The site plan and landscaping plan are currently being addressed by our civil engineer and we will send them as soon as they are done. For the questions on the building and colors, it is our position that the red panels are key to the branding of the business and it is an accent color. The attachment has a few things we feel support this position: Drawings of the building with the red panels shown and the percentages of the building that is covered in these panels. All sides are at or under 21%. There are renderings as well. We have also included a material specification for the metal panels, we would use this or and equivalent material. The last few pages are from the Meridian Architectural Standards with some highlighted areas we believe we are following the guidelines. Please let us know if this is enough information or if we need to request a Design Review Exception. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to a successful project in meridian. Design Review ASM Goal 5.2B explicitly states that intensely saturated colors are prohibited as a primary material, here are some suggestions. * Change color to one that is less saturated as a primary material; or * Reduce the area to constitute an accent material or explain how it already is; or * Apply for a Design Review Exception understanding that it has to meet the intent of the “timeless community character”. * Can you please provide more details regarding the metal composite material and what grade of material that is. Site Plan: * Please include the pathway to the north and the sidewalk to the east on the plans to match the landscape plan. * A continuous internal pedestrian walkway that is a minimum of five feet (5') in width shall be provided from the perimeter sidewalk to the main building entrance(s) for nonresidential uses. The internal pedestrian walkway shall be distinguished from the vehicular driving surfaces through the use of pavers, colored or scored concrete, or bricks. (please match the located on the landscape plan) * Depict measurements of all drive aisles on the site plan. * Indicate measurement of sidewalk on north side of building. Landscape Plan: * Add another to the south landscape buffer.
