You are correct, the public hearing for Teakwood Place before the Planning and Zoning Commission is this Thursday, May 7th. The meeting will be held virtually and if you wish to provide live testimony, the link to sign up will be available at 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 6th. Once the sign up link is available, you can access the form by clicking here. On the sign up page you will enter your information, and you will need to check the box asking for us to email you a link to join the meeting. Once you’ve done that, we’ll email you instructions to join the meeting so you may provide your testimony. You will have three minutes to testify unless you are representing a homeowner’s association, in which case you will be allowed ten minutes to speak. If you have any questions regarding this process or anything else we may assist you with, please feel free to reply to this email. I do believe I answered your questions the last time you reached out; the canal is not on the property in question and the pathway proposed is outside of its easement, but runs along the western side of the canal easement. From reviewing the plans, I have not seen any vehicular access proposed other than through the adjacent subdivision to the west and an emergency access road from E. Victory that is along the western property line. There is no access or development occurring on your property so far as Staff can see. I recommend watching the meeting at least so that you can get the clearest picture possible about the proposed subdivision. I never received notice of whether the city is reviewing plans for this subdivision. I still have the same questions about pathway ,using our private road to access property. I reached out to nampa meridian irrigation and no one had been contacted about pathway or use of canal road to access teakwood property. I also noticed that the city STILL has your pathway coming down my private property. We do not have plans for the city to use this land. Mary Dechambeau 2
