My name is Mike McClure and I would like to express my concern
regarding the lack of pathway connectivity in our neighborhoods. I live
across the street from the proposed Teakwood Place subdivision.
As things stand now, we have no close pedestrian route to access Tuscany
subdivision and the city owned parks there. You are taking your life in
your hands walking our biking along Victory between Eagle and S Locust
Grove and to head south on Locust Grove from Victory you have to cross
a very narrow bridge.
There should be a pathway connecting all our subdivisions. If Teakwood
is approved the pathway from Tuscany should be connected. The pathway
dead ends right at the fence on the Tuscany side. That pathway should
have been connected a long time ago. Being able to walk and bike through
our neighborhoods is both safer and a lot more pleasant experience.
