NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of
the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho that
the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Meridian
will hold a public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East
Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of 6:00 p.m.
on Thursday, May 21, 2020 for the purpose of reviewing and
considering the following applications:
Baron Black Cat, LLC for a Rezone of a total of 21.59
acres of land for the purpose of reducing the C-C zone from
approximately 7 acres to 0.74 acres and increase the R-15
zone from approximately 15.1 acres to 20.85 acres; a Short
Plat consisting of 2 building lots and 2 common lots on 21.59
acres of land in the C-C and R-15 zoning districts; a Condi-
tional Use Permit for a multi-family development consisting
of 195 residential units on 20.13 acres in the R-15 zone; and
a Modification to the Existing Development Agreements
(Inst. Vs: 106151218; 107025555; 110059432; and
114054272)for the purpose of removing the subject property
from the boundaries and terms of previous agreements and
enter into a new one, consistent with the proposed develop-
ment plan for Modern Craftsman at Black Cat (H-2020-
0022)located in the northeast corner of N. Black Cat Rd. and
W.Chinden Blvd. (SH 20/26).
Bouma USA for Annexation of 5.15 acres of land from
RUT in Ada County to the R-15 zoning district to develop the
property with additional parking and recreational fields for an
existing Education Institution, and a Modification to the Ex-
isting Development Agreement(Inst.#2018-079763)to in-
corporate the subject property and revise the concept plan
based on the proposed expansion of the Education Institution
for COMPASS Charter School East Expansion (H-2020-
0042,)located at 4540 W. Franklin Rd.
Schultz Development for a Modification to the Existing
Development Agreement (Inst. #1 081 31 1 00), which allows
commercial/office/hotel uses, for the purpose of replacing the
agreement with a new agreement allowing a mix of single-
family and multi-family residential uses to develop on the
site; a Rezone of a total of 38.47 acres of land from the C-G
to the R-8(10.13 acres), R-15(12.20 acres)and R-40 (16.14
acres) zoning districts; a Preliminary Plat consisting of 142
buildable lots and 18 common lots on 37.87 acres of land in
the R-8, R-15 and R-40 zoning districts; and a Conditional
use permit for a multi-family development consisting of 272
residential units on 16.14 acres of land in the R-40 zoning
district for Tanner Creek Subdivision (H-2020-0024), locat-
ed at 675 W.Waltman Ln.
Individuals wishing to testify in person may do so by attend-
ing the public hearing at the above-noted time and date.Writ-
ten testimony may be submitted up to 72 hours prior to the
Public Hearing via postal mail to Meridian City Clerk, 33 E.
Broadway Ave, Suite 104, Meridian, ID, 83642; by email to
citvclerk@meridiancity.org; by voicemail at 208-288-5607; or
by texting "Comment" to 31996. Oral testimony may be limit-
ed to 3 minutes per person. All testimony and materials re-
ceived or presented become property of the City of Meridian
as public records and are subject to the provisions of the Ida-
ho Public Records Law. Application materials are subject to
change throughout the public hearing process, and it is in-
cumbent on interested persons to monitor changes by follow-
ing the process in person, online, or by contacting City staff.

verify public will be permitted in person.
