Ault All ayes C. FY 2021 Proposed Budget 5.New Business [Action Item] A. National Registr y Bid from TAG AB reviewed the process of listing a property on the National Registry and the bid she received from TAG. Next meeting, AB will return with a written proposal and prepared contract with TAG. B. Pr eser vation M onth May 28, 2020 Commissioners discussed alternative activities and outreach for Preservation Month. A special subcommittee meeting was scheduled for Wednesday, May 29 at 3pm for the commissioners to record videos at the Walking Tour stops. The videos will be recorded on the commissioners’ smartphones and shared with the Commission's google drive so that the videos can be posted on social media throughout the month. All commissioners present at the meeting expressed interest in attending the special subcommittee meeting. C. Hull F ilm Next S ites Brandon Hull presented the outline he created for the requested virtual tour sites, City Hall/Creamery and Meridian Speedway, as well as two additional sites. The commissioners expressed interest in moving forward with the City Hall/Creamery and Meridian Speedway sites. This month, the commissioners will review the sites and give feedback to locations they want to highlight in the virtual tour. D. M anaging HP C S ocial M edia AB informed the Commission on instructions she received from the City's Communications Manager regarding the Commission's social media. A social media manager for the Commission's accounts needs to be chosen, and that manager will create a content calendar each month with posts 3x per week. This will ensure that the Commission has enough material for consistent posting on a social media account and establish proper language and voice for the account. The commissioners discussed the City's involvement and monitoring of the Commission's social media sites. A concern was raised that the Commission's social media would not be ready for posting by Preservation Month. J. Nary will reach out to Shandy Lam, Communications Manager, to ask clarifying questions. 6.O ld Business A. Walking Tour P ost P anel Replacement AB found out that the Meridian Downtown Corporation owns the sign posts around downtown, however the Commission can replace panels on those signs. AB will get the contact from Trademark Signs in order to bring back a proof next month. 7.Reports A. 3rd G rade F ield T r ips AB talked with Lori Nash from West Ada School District and reported that videos of the Historic Society Center are not conducive to the elementary school take home packets and that 4 th graders will not be able to return to City Hall for field trips next year. The commissioners discussed sending home the walking tour brochures in the elementary school packets. AB will check with Lori Nash. B. Walking Tour B r ochures The Commission decided to hold on ordering until it is confirmed that brochures can be sent home with 3 rd graders. C.
