Subject:Allmon Subdivision
I am writing again to object to the fact that this subdivision will not have direct access from Locust Grove
Rd. The plan to funnel all traffic through the neighboring subdivisions in not a good option. Living in Saguaro
Springs, the traffic that comes through now is well in excess of what is safe. Many vehicles come through here
to avoid the light at Chinden (this applies to before the current project to widen Chinden began) or to get to
other subdivisions to the west of Saguaro Springs. This traffic all goes downs E. Tuttle St., which qualified for
speed bumps. These speed bumps have proved to be ineffective, as there are wide spots with no humps,
allowing cars to avoid going over the humps at all.
I encourage the council support the current residents of the existing subdivisions, and have ACHD
approve direct access to Locust Grove.
Respectfully,
David Henchman
