PZ - Staff Correspondence with Commissioners Adrienne Weatherly From:Andrea Pogue Sent:Tuesday, April 21, 2020 1:42 PM To:Lisa Holland; Nick Grove; Patricia Pitzer; Rhonda McCarvel; Andy Seal; Bill Cassinelli; Ryan Fitzgerald Cc:Bill Parsons; Joseph Dodson; Adrienne Weatherly Subject:Re: Commissioner Question related to: Good Apple Taphouse on 4/23/20 P & Z Meeting Agenda Hello Commissioners: On Monday, April 20, 2020 5:02 PM, Commissioner Cassinelli posed the following question to staff about the Good Apple Taphouse CUP application: can you please check with Joe on the Good Apple Taphouse. I thought that they were already open (barring the stay-at-home closing). Were they opened but just not serving alcohol yet? So just clarification on the CUP at this point. Is this a change in hours? Here is the response from Joseph Dodson | Current Associate Planner for all of your consideration: The information is contained within my staff report , but I can answer it here as well. There were some errors by Staff that allowed this business/suite to obtain CO prior to obtaining the required CUP. Because it was not applicants fault, it was a Director level decision to allow them to have their alcohol license on a temporary basis so long as they were in the process of receiving a CUP. I do not know how long they were open but they were definitely open prior to the stay-at-home order. Further discussion should wait to the public hearing. Thank you. Andrea M.
