NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of
the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho that
the City Council of the City of Meridian will hold a public
hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Broadway Avenue,
Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April
21,2020 for the purpose of reviewing and considering the fol-
lowing applications:
Martin L. Hill, Hill & Hill Properties for a Rezone of a to-
tal of 39.9 acres of land from the R-8 zoning district to the C-
N (4.9 acres), C-C (4.35 acres), and R-15 (30.65 acres)zon-
ing districts; a Modification to the Existing Development
Agreement (Hill's Century Farm Commercial - Inst. #2019-
033207)to update the conceptual development plan and cer-
tain provisions to allow for the development of a self-service
storage facility and retail/professional office uses where sin-
gle-family residential was previously proposed; a Prelimi-
nary Plat consisting of 4-37 147 building lots, and 18 com-
mon lots and�„a—' h^•''^ on 43.02 acres of land in the R-8,
R-15, C-N and C-C zoning districts; a Planned Unit Devel-
opment for an age-restricted 55 and older gated community
with deviations from certain development standards; and a
Conditional Use Permit for a 73,730 square foot, 443-unit
self-service storage facility on 3.89 acres of land in the C-C
zoning district for Hill's Century Farm North (H-2019-0134),
located at the southeast corner of S. Eagle Rd. and E. Amity
Rd.
Penelope Constantikes, Riley Planning Services for an
Annexation of 7.09 acres of land with an R-8 zoning district
and a Preliminary Plat consisting of 28 building lots, 7 com-
mon lots and 2 other (common driveway) lots on 7 acres of
land in the R-8 zoning district for Lupine Cove (H-2019-
0133),located at 4000 N. McDermott Rd
Individuals wishing to testify in person may do so by attend-
ing the public hearing at the above-noted time and date. Oral
testimony may be limited to 3 minutes per person. Written
testimony may be submitted up to 72 hours prior to the Pub-
lic Hearing via mail or in person to Meridian City Clerk, 33 E.
Broadway Ave, Suite 104, Meridian, ID, 83642; by email to
citvclerk@meridiancity.ora; by voicemail at 208-288-5607; or
by texting "Comment" to 31996. All testimony and materials
received or presented become property of the City of Meridi-
an as public records and are subject to the provisions of the
Idaho Public Records Law. Application materials are subject
to change throughout the public hearing process, and it is in-
cumbent on interested persons to monitor changes by follow-
ing the process in person, online, or by contacting City staff.
