Sonya:
Aloha, I have returned with a tan. In my conversations with their regional representative in Salt Lake, he indicated they
are not proactive. When homes are constructed within an area, they will begin their design and planning for an upgrade
of the pipeline. They have to submit the plans to their superiors who have to budget for the upgrades. The process is not
a speedy one. Therefore, I don’t want to install the multi-use pathway and the turf when Williams will come in later and
destroy everything we have installed.

Do you know when NW Pipeline is planning to replace the pipe?

Sonya,
We do have a problem with this, because the Northwest Pipeline runs through the parcel. Changing the land use also
changes the requirements for the construction of the pipeline.
Northwest Pipeline will be replacing their pipe in that entire area, so we do not want to construct a pathway that will be
ripped up.
We respectfully request that the multi-use pathway not be required until the multi-family portion of the project is
developed.

The Commission recommended to Council that the multi-use pathway be constructed with phase 2 (which doesn’t touch
the pathway)…I think I’ll recommend to Council that it be construct with phase 1 and included in that plat….would your
client be ok with that?
Thanks,
