Nature of Request
Due to the demand for data and cell coverage in the area, Verizon Wireless proposes to collocate
antennas and equipment on an existing IPCO wooden light pole in the ROW.
The Project will involve installing (3) antennas with (3) junction boxes and (1) fronthaul along
with fiber conduits on an existing IPCO wooden light pole in the City of Meridian. Verizon
Wireless and Idaho Power have an agreement in place to locate their equipment on light poles
owned by Idaho Power in the ROW.
Conclusion
It is the goal of Verizon Wireless to provide the area with reliable wireless services. Approving
this application will allow Verizon to continue providing the best service to its customers in the
surrounding area.
