The Woodbridge Community truly appreciates the efforts of the Meridian City Planning Department,
the Meridian City Council and Mayor Simison to select the right developments and projects for the
benefit of all residents. We want to thank the City of Meridian for supporting a positive quality of
life. We, as you, are always concerned about the type and quality of development near our
neighborhood that would impact the Woodbridge residents.
The Woodbridge subdivision is fully supportive of the Andorra Senior Living development. The
project, which is directly to the east & south of Woodbridge is appropriate for this location. It fits the
land use intention of the comprehensive plan and is in line with the types of development in the
medical corridor that we were expecting to see when purchasing our homes. The project is a great
transition from the assisted &full care facility to the north &the near proximity to St Lukes to the
east. Very importantly for Woodbridge, though not solving our significant traffic problems, this type
of project will create the smallest number of trips through our community.
Therefore, we ask that you approve this Development Project.
We are realistic and understand that development is needed in the area West of St. Luke's. We are
hopeful that a solution to our traffic problems can be found. At previous meetings, traffic issues for
Woodbridge has been discussed many times. We hope you will encourage ACHD and P&Z to look for
more permanent solutions to this problem that so significantly affects the quality of life & safety of
Woodbridge.
Thank you for your consideration.
